Few competitors match their breadth and depth of experience, expertise, and success, either in the UK or globally. These achievements were officially recognised in 2008 when RML were awarded the Motorsport Industry Association’s Business of the Year Award.
RML Group grew out of the motorsport activities of the Mallock family dating back to 1936, when Major Arthur Mallock fielded his first Austin 7-based special. 1958 saw the debut of the legendary U2 series of club racers, which launched the careers of dozens of successful drivers and engineers.
Current owners of the company, brothers Richard and Ray Mallock followed in their father’s footsteps in the 1970s, both winning championships at the wheel of cars bearing the Mallock name.
RML’s Wellingborough HQ is home to 11 specialist departments and three secure project areas. RML expertise supports the design, production, development, and operation of competition cars including such famous names as Aston Martin, Vauxhall, Opel, Nissan, Chevrolet, and Mercedes-Benz.
