West Northamptonshire Development Corporation (WNDC) was set up by the government in December 2004. Its mission is to promote and deliver sustainable housing growth and regeneration in Northampton, Daventry and Towcester.

Central government has designated West Northamptonshire as a flagship growth area. This means more affordable homes, more jobs, more facilities and more opportunities are to be created for local people.

Thanks to this initiative, West Northamptonshire is set to become one of the most exciting areas of opportunity in the UK.

WNDC aims to:

  • Deliver new homes and the infrastructure to support new homes
  • nsure new homes meet design and environmental quality standards and are integrated with existing communities
  • Ensure new homes are supported by infrastructure, employment and town centre regeneration
