Introduction
Leaders First is a programme delivered through Train to Gain to provide training and support to leaders and managers. Train to Gain is the Government flagship service to support employers of in all sectors to improve the skills of their employees.
Funding is available to any organisation with 5 – 249 employees (drawing an income) to support Leaders First training and development. The funding is to support the improvement of skills through coaching, mentoring or working towards a qualification.
Eligibility
Enquiries will be considered from Senior Managers (Managing Directors, Owner Managers, Chief Executive Officers and Directors) from organisations employing 5 or more people. Eligibility applies to those who have not accessed previous Leadership and Management funding initiatives through the Learning and Skills Council.
