What We Do

At Northamptonshire Enterprise we work to build a thriving and sustainable economy for Northamptonshire's communities and businesses. We support the growth of new and existing businesses and the creation of new jobs by management investment of more than £10 million a year into Northamptonshire's economy.

We focus our investment on areas of greatest need and greatest potential, so that all of our communities and stakeholders can gain from and contribute to Northamptonshire's success. Key objectives of the organisation include:

1. Invigorating Northamptonshire's Economy

We support areas in Northamptonshire in need of renewal, and address the need for job creation, business space and community inclusion.

2. Developing People

We improve access to skills and jobs, and tackle labour and skills shortages. We remove barriers to employment and help to ensure Northamptonshire's economy has the diverse, well-skilled workforce it needs to compete and grow.

3. Enabling Business

We strengthen business competitiveness, and raise the profile of key business sectors to attract further investment. We encourage a culture of innovation and entrepreneurial activity.

4. Marketing & Promoting Northamptonshire

We work to present a powerful, consistent and relevant image of Northamptonshire as a vibrant place to live, study, visit and do business.
