Explore Northamptonshire, the tourism division of Northamptonshire Enterprise Ltd, is the voice for tourism in Northamptonshire Our remit is to help increase occupancy levels for quality accommodation providers and attract more customers to visitor attractions, venues, restaurants, shops and events in the county.

Raising the Quality

In today's competitive tourism market visitors are becoming ever more demanding - and expect the highest quality of service and facilities. A successful visitor economy depends upon the people and the product that visitors come into contact with during their visit. Our various support activities aim to help businesses to develop, so the products we are marketing are of the highest standard.

To achieve this, Explore is encouraging more visitor accommodation and visitor attractions to participate in the national tourism quality assurance schemes. We are also holding one-day business development workshops and quality awareness days over the coming months.
