Explore Northamptonshire, the tourism division of Northamptonshire Enterprise Ltd, has prepared a programme of one day workshops to support the local tourism industry. These workshops are funded by East Midlands Tourism through the region’s quality improvement programme.
PR workshop – “Combating the credit crunch”
A practical workshop to encourage businesses to review their PR options, look at creating new media stories and how to develop good relationships with the local press

An inspiring and stimulating day designed to help businesses find new ways of making your business truly welcoming and enticing to families
Focus on Food / Menu for Success
This programme provides knowledge to ensure your food retail is delivering you maximum profits and is suitable for restaurants, cafes, attractions and pubs serving food
Quality assurance mock assessment day
Designed specifically for guest accommodation providers (Bed and Breakfasts, Farmhouse B&Bs, Inns, Pubs with rooms, Restaurants with rooms, guest houses). This event gives you the chance to find out what a quality assessment includes and the ways you can benefit from having a star rating
Visitor Attraction Quality Awareness Day
A one-day quality awareness course for operators, managers and owners of all types of visitor attractions (large or small). The course looks at how the quality of the visitor experience can be developed through practical enhancements and looks at the benefits of joining the national accreditation scheme VAQAS (Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Service)
