Althorp’s beautiful gardens housed a glamorous marquee in which this exciting event on the county’s social calendar celebrated another year of successes across Northamptonshire’s business, resident and voluntary communities.
As it did last year, the dinner featured another exciting programme of entertainment from a variety of the county’s talented musicians and performers and in keeping with the “keep it local” ethos the catering and other services were provided by Northamptonshire companies.
A celebrity conducted the charity auction, which for the third year running, was in aid of the Let Yourself Grow Fund for the Northamptonshire Community Foundation (NCF). In addition to Gift Aid, every £1 raised for the charity on the night will be matched by The Treasury. Last year’s event raised more than £16,000 for the charity and we hope to beat that this year.
The event was also host to the announcement of the winners in this year's Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards. The awards for "Restaurant of the Year" and the "Pub or Bar Restaurant of the Year" were announced on the night and you can find out more about the winners and other finalists at the link below.
