Brampton Valley
Brampton Valley is a network of five routes for both touring and off-road cyclists, which takes you over tranquil rivers, along panoramic ridges, across famous battlefields, meandering through picturesque villages and countryside and past stately homes and historic monuments.
The routes cover the area along and around the Brampton Valley Way, which is a 14 mile linear trail built on a former railway line between Northampton and Market Harborough. Routes range from 2.5 miles to 27 miles so you will find an ideal trail to have a leisurely ride with your family or train for your next event.
Nene Valley
The Nene Valley cycle route runs from Flore, near Daventry to Wansford, near Peterborough and covers 65 miles. The cycle route is divided into three tours of varying lengths, all of which take you through beautiful countryside, picturesque villages and past historic sites and buildings. Some of the interesting sites you will see along the way include Fotheringhay Castle, Prebendal Manor, Castle Ashby, Irchester Country Park and Oundle Village.
The Bluebell Line
This 20 mile cycle tour begins and ends in the market town of Daventry and winds through breathtaking countryside and attractive villages. The tour does have some challenging hills but you will be rewarded with stops along the way at a quaint country pub or picnic in a country park.
